We got off the boat in Ocho Rios at about 7am. It was early enough that my brain wasn't working -- we went right from the air conditioned ship into the humid morning heat of Jamaica, and of course my camera got all foggy from the condensation. The early morning pictures above show a little of the fog, but it turned out to make kind of a cool effect.

The first stop was Dun's River Falls. It's a rainforest waterfall that empties into the ocean. They take excursions hiking up the falls right through the waterfall. The hiking pictures are below. |

The second stop was at a resort beach to spend the rest of the day relaxing. They had a little island bar there and a little island gift shop. See the pictures of the parrot tikis (middle picture, bottom)? Nicole bought one that was about 3x the size of the ones in the picture. Great day, lots of fun, lots of rum. |
